Dear Prospective Sponsor:
This is an invitation for local businesses, churches, and individuals to participate in the continued growth of Stafford Youth Basketball Association (S.Y.B.A.) for the 2023-2024 season. Stafford Youth Basketball Association is a non-profit 501(3)(c) charitable organization, which is beginning its 38th year of providing recreation and mentorship to boys and girls.
S.Y.B.A. is structured as a developmental program with special rules and policies that ensure fair and equal play. Every child has the opportunity to play every game without any requirement to try-out. Our goal is to maximize team values, develop character and self-esteem of every child, while developing the movement patterns and energy system for skillfully playing the game of basketball.
S.Y.B.A. has enjoyed area-wide support with leadership coming from many areas of the community. City council members and employees, Stafford Municipal School District Board of Trustee members, teachers, coaches, and administrators, and most importantly, parents have volunteered their time as coaches, team parents, scoreboard keepers, statisticians, and a host of other duties.
To continue this OPPORTUNITY to as many children as possible we streamline cost and keep enrollment fees low, therefore we need support of local businesses and individuals to become team sponsors. As a team sponsor you become an integral part of S.Y.B.A., helping us to become more responsive to the needs of our youth. Your TAX-DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTION will assist in the purchase of uniforms, equipment, and trophies for each team. In addition, financial assistance is provided to children who desire to participate in our program when a financial barrier exists.
As a team sponsor your company, your logo will be added to our website and prominently displayed on a banner below the score board at games. We will also publish an advertisement banner on the team website during the season. In addition, you will receive a photo plaque to display at your business to show your community support.
Your participation will give children a well-rounded sports/educational experience.
